Miya Hitchman

Miya is a Trainee Solicitor undertaking her training contract across the firm’s practice areas. Through rotational seats, she is developing experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, supporting different teams as part of her progression towards qualification.

She assists solicitors with drafting, client communication, legal research and matter preparation, contributing to the efficient progression of matters from instruction through to completion. Her work includes preparing documentation, managing files and supporting both transactional and advisory matters across the firm.

Miya works with individual clients and small to medium sized businesses, providing organised and proactive support and taking increasing responsibility for aspects of matters as her training progresses.

Miya joined the firm in September 2023 and progressed into a Paralegal role while completing her LLB (Hons) at Aston University (2021–2024). She subsequently completed a Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice (LPC LLM) at the University of Law, Birmingham, before commencing her training contract. She is currently undertaking the Professional Skills Course as part of her training.

Miya approaches her work with diligence and a strong commitment to learning, demonstrating careful attention to detail and a consistent focus on delivering high quality work.
